HAF run a wide range of public health campaigns are run each year to increase awareness, understanding and support action around key priorities like Womens’ education and water conservation.
Furthermore, HAF have utilised these campaigns to spread health promotion such as family planning and vaccination.
Using these campaigns they are able to inform local communities about facts, guidelines and help available and offers them a chance to ask questions.
Through these activities we are able to engage and educate the public and encourage them to make informed decisions.
Some of the campaigns HAF have organised includes:
Walks and seminars on “Youma Issar (Sacrifice Day)” on the 8th of October in remembrance of the earthquake victims
Walks on Health Day, Women Day etc.
Promotion of Rain Water Harvesting systems to tackle water shortage issue
